One of the great things about Chile is that, despite being a relatively small country with limited cultural policies, we’re absolutely overflowing with talent. Chile is home to world-renowned authors like Isabel Allende, muralists like INTI, Nobel Prize–winning poets such as Gabriela Mistral, and an endless variety of musicians across every genre.

Today I want to highlight that side of Chilean culture with a playlist. Think of it as your soundtrack while visiting Chile—or simply as a way to bring a piece of Chile to wherever you are. These are the kinds of songs you’ll likely hear at family barbecues, fondas, and celebrations across the country right now.

The list isn’t commercial or mainstream—it’s current, local, and authentic. Most of these tracks are the kind you’d only discover if a Chilean friend played them for you. (Consider this my way of being that friend!)
