Our first stop is the Mercado Central, the city’s iconic fish market housed in a stunning art-nouveau style building. The market’s design mimics a classic London train station, and inside, you’ll encounter bustling seafood stalls, vibrant colors, and the lively atmosphere of local vendors.
Next, we’ll walk to the Moneda Palace, Chile’s presidential palace and a fine example of neoclassical architecture designed by Austrian architect Karl Brunner. As we stroll through the Civic Neighborhood, your guide will share stories about the building’s history and its role in modern Chile.
At the Plaza de Armas, Santiago’s historic main square, we’ll take a short break for coffee while soaking in the lively atmosphere. Afterward, we’ll head up Santa Lucia Hill, where Pedro de Valdivia founded the city in 1541. From the top, enjoy panoramic views of Santiago’s bustling city center and the surrounding mountains.

You’ll have the option to continue exploring the Bellavista neighborhood, famous for its artistic vibe and the funicular and cable cars at San Cristobal Hill, or return to your hotel.
