Valparaiso Tours from Santiago
During our Valparaiso Tour, you can take in the faded grandeur of this unique harbor town in Chile, nestled between the sea and the forested coastal mountain range. In 2003, Valparaiso, meaning “the valley of paradise”, was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO.
In this carefully crafted private Valparaiso tour departing from Santiago, we will show you all the hidden nooks, backstreets and peculiarities of Valparaiso. Upon arrival we take a funicular (the oldest stems from 1883) up to the hills. We will explore the little backstreets with street-art and stroll through the bohemian labyrinth of colourful streets. Take your time to nose through the many artisan jewellery shops and galleries. From up in the Valparaiso hills, you can take in the colourful views of this avant-garde town and take unique pictures. After an exquisite lunch (not included in the price), we will either do a boat trip through the bay to meet the enormous sea lions that rest on buoys and shipwrecks, or we visit to Pablo Neruda‘s house La Sebastiana followed by our return to Santiago. Let us know which option you prefer!

You will be picked up at 09.30 and returned by 19.00 to your hotel. Drive time is about two hours from Santiago.

Sustainability Commitment
At Chile Off Track, we are committed to doing our part in making the planet a better place. As part of our sustainability efforts, we have discontinued the use of individual plastic water bottles during our tours. Instead, we kindly ask that our clients bring refillable water bottles. If you forget to bring one, don’t worry—we are happy to provide a refillable bottle for your use during the tour. By taking this small step together, we can make a significant impact on reducing plastic waste and preserving the natural beauty we all cherish.
