What to Expect on the Andes Mountains & Winery Tour
Your day begins with a 9:00 AM hotel pick-up. From there, sit back and relax as we drive up into the majestic Andes Mountains, stopping at Farellones and Valle Nevado ski resorts. These scenic spots offer dramatic views year-round:
- In summer, take in sweeping vistas of rugged peaks and valleys, with Santiago far below.
- In winter, enjoy the snow-covered landscape and maybe even a coffee at the resort to warm up.
- On lucky days, you might spot the Chilean Condor soaring overhead or resting on the quiet terraces of Valle Nevado.
After exploring the Andes, we’ll return to Santiago for lunch in Providencia at one of our favourite restaurants. You’ll enjoy a diverse menu featuring dishes like confit de canard, warm goat cheese salad, pasta, and premium Chilean wines.
Then, we head to a local urban winery, one of the few left in the city. You’ll tour the vineyard, learn about the region’s wine traditions, and end the day with a relaxed wine tasting of their finest blends.

Travel Time Overview
Your full-day adventure includes three main segments by car:
- Santiago to the Andes Mountains
→ Approx. 2 hours uphill drive to reach Farellones and Valle Nevado ski resorts. - Andes Mountains back to Santiago (Providencia area)
→ Approx. 1.5 hours downhill drive to reach the city for lunch. - Santiago to the winery (urban area)
→ Approx. 1 hour drive after lunch to reach the urban winery for your final stop and wine tasting.
Each leg of the journey is scenic and comfortable, with plenty of time between stops to enjoy the surroundings without feeling rushed.
