Food & Wine Pairing Tour
For those who LOVE Wine & Food we have selected the best combination for you! On this amazing day out we will visit Bodegas RE and one other winery in the Casablanca Valley for our Food and Wine Pairing Tour.
The day starts at Bodegas RE where a winery tour is followed by a Food and Wine Pairing Lunch in their beautiful wine cellars. In a 4 course gourmet meal we will taste 4 of their premium wines. In Spanish, a Food and Wine Pairing is called “Maridaje“.
Bodegas RE reintroduces ancient ways of producing wine in immense amphorae. Combining traditional ways with today’s knowledge enables them to produce beautiful premium wines! Bodegas RE belongs to the Morandé family, 9 generations of wine producers in Chile.
A real gem is their “Vigno” label, produced with 100% of Carignan grapes.
We also recommend the Chardonnoir.
Afterwards, we will visit another of our favourite wineries in Casablanca valley, so we can enrich your experience and provide an overview of the unique wide range of winemaking practices available in the valley.
Casablanca Valley
Both of these wineries are located in the Casablanca Valley – famous for its production of cool climate wines due to its geographical position. The Casablanca Valley offers an excellent wine terroir due to the combination of sloped hills, coastal influence, variety of soils, and extreme temperature variations between day and night, which results in a slow-ripening process.
Pick up
You will be picked up at 10.00 and returned by 17.00 to your hotel in Santiago. Driving time is about 1 hour
