Casas del Bosque & Bodegas RE Winery Tour

Experience the best of Chilean winemaking on our Casablanca Valley wine tour. This full-day journey takes you to two of the region’s most iconic wineries—Bodegas RE and Casas del Bosque—where ancient traditions meet modern excellence. Taste premium wines, explore scenic vineyards, and enjoy an unforgettable day in one of Chile’s top wine regions.

🍇 Stop 1: Bodegas RE – Ancient Traditions, Modern Wines

We begin the day at Bodegas RE, a one-of-a-kind winery that revives ancient wine-making techniques using large clay amphorae while blending them with today’s scientific knowledge.

Owned by the Morandé family, whose winemaking legacy spans nine generations, Bodegas RE is celebrated for:

  • Vigno – crafted with 100% Carignan grapes
  • Chardonnoir – an elegant Chardonnay–Pinot Noir blend
  • A gourmet shop offering olive oil, aged vinegars, and exclusive liqueurs

This visit provides a fascinating look at how historical methods are brought to life in the modern wine world.

Lunch in the Casablanca Valley

Next, we enjoy a delicious lunch at one of Casas del Bosque’s on-site restaurants, known for excellent service and curated wine pairings.

If the winery’s restaurants are fully booked, we’ll take you to a charming restaurant in the town of Casablanca, where the menu highlights Chilean cuisine and the region’s winemaking traditions.

🍇 Stop 2: Casas del Bosque – A Modern Classic

After lunch, your Casablanca Valley wine tour continues with a visit to Casas del Bosque, a renowned boutique winery known for its attention to detail, elegant whites, and expressive reds.

You’ll take a guided walk through:

  • The vineyards and soil profiles
  • The production and bottling facilities
  • The aging cellar filled with oak barrels

Be sure to try their standout Chardonnays—a highlight of this visit. This stop perfectly complements the morning’s experience at Bodegas RE, offering a broader view of the region’s winemaking styles.

🌿 Why Casablanca Valley?

Located just an hour from Santiago, the Casablanca Valley is world-famous for its cool-climate wines, especially whites like Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Thanks to its coastal breeze, diverse soils, and day-night temperature swings, the region offers ideal conditions for slow-ripening grapes and complex wines.
