Let us take you through history on our Santiago City Highlights Tour. Experience all the best sites this lively city has while imagining it’s colonial days.

Santiago City Highlights Tour

Let us take you through history on our Santiago Tour from the old Spanish colonial city of Pedro de Valdivia to the now modern buzzing hub in Latin America. Come and see all the highlights of the capital on this Santiago City Highlights Tour with us on a personalised 3 to 4 hour walking tour!

On the tour, you will see it all! Stroll through corridors of strange, native seafood at the art-nouveau style  Mercado Central, the old fish market whose construction mimics a London-esque train station, and experience the fast-paced environments, the smells, the colours, and flavours. Let yourself take it all in! We will also visit the neo-classical Moneda Palace (seat of the government) and the surrounding Civic Neighbourhood, designed by Austrian Architect Karl Brunner. At the Plaza de Armas (main square) we will stop for coffee and a little rest, and go up Santa Lucia Hill, where Santiago was founded in 1541 by Pedro de Valdivia, to catch gorgeous panoramic views of the City Centre.

Of course, showing the exquisite gastronomy of Santiago is part of the Santiago Highlights Tour, so we will give you a choice of restaurant at the end of the tour. After lunch, we can drop you off at the nearby Bellavista neighbourhood if you want to explore the funicular and cable cars at San Cristobal hill, or take you back to your hotel.

Pick up

You will be picked up at 10.00 and returned by 15.30 to your hotel.

For the full culture explorer’s package you can add the Valparaiso Tour, or time-wise it’s a good combination with the Observatory Tour which is in the evening!
